Single handpump offering Southerndown Gold from Tomos & Lilford - a new one for me! Keg options were Guinness, Worthington CF, Carling, Madri, Staro, Aspall cider, Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale, Doom Bar and Orchard Pig Reveller cider.
Pub in a small hamlet between Culverhouse Cross and Wenvoe. Not one you would chance upon for sure. Car park out the front and some seating around the perimeter that was popular on a sunny mid-March evening with some amazing views on one side. Inside, the bar counter is on the left-hand side and is of a brick construction. The venue is fully bare boarded. There are some leather padded benches on the wall opposite the bar counter but other than that it is regular tables and chairs around the space with some tall, backed stools at the bar servery. There is an area to the right of the main bar area that had several tables that looked like it would be mostly occupied by diners. Was a bit underwhelmed by the venue, was a bit spartan inside and could be a bit more homely for the type of venue.
