Cask in this Brains establishment was provided via Best, SA and SA Gold. Otherwise, Strongbow regular and dark fruits, Stella, Carlsberg, Carling, Poretti, Moretti, Cruz, Brains Bitter Smooth, Brains Dark Smooth and Guinness.
Large Brains establishment where the focal point is the bar counter that faces you on entrance from the side of the pub between the main road and the car park. The bar area is terracotta tiled and had some regular tall tables around the bar and some stool sitting at the bar counter. Over to the right and left of the bar area are some further seating areas partly popular with diners on my visit. In front of the bar area but to the right was the Rev James restaurant even fuller with diners. Quite low ceiling, TV's dotted around and showing evening coverage on various channels, fruit machines This was I imagine the mainstream pub of this northern suburb of Cardiff. A few more places still this evening to test that theory.
