The Barowness was a very basic corner pub that was situated fairly close to Grangetown station.
Once inside i went into a very basic bar that was oblong in shape and ran to the rear of the pub,the pub was a Brains tied house,there was one real ale on the bar, Brains bitter,this was a very nice drink.
This was a locals pub but i was made welcome enough here.
This pub is still standing but is now sadly boarded up.
