Roadside pub with a typical St Austell modernisation: some feature stonework, loud carpets, light wood and lounge-type furniture. Bar in the middle, with laid-up tables either end. Much as I like to see a pub with a strong local following, they clearly took priority over strangers. Eventually getting served, the St Austell beers seemed to be in good order. Outside, there are some benches at the front and a car park and large garden at the rear.

Called in this smart friendly St Austell pub yesterday, and really enjoyed the clear HSD.
Sesting is outside by the road, but was a lovely sunny spot.
Food menu looked good,

Large pub right on the main road between Hayle and Camborne. However the welcome was very warm. The beer was excellent and the food very good.
This is an excellent value for money pub.
