The Middleton Arms was our only stop in Llandrindod Wells on this trip to the town. Located on the northern outskirts, it is very much a locals' pub.
Just one other customer was present. The landlady was fairly friendly. The bar itself was reasonably plain. Square boxes had been put in place across the bar to deter people from approaching it. This made beer selection a little more tricky than normal. I had to peer over the boxes to work out what the real ale was, which meant me having to get closer to the bar than necessary! These are certainly strange times.
The ale turned out to be Glamorgan Cwrw Gorslas, which wasn't particularly to my liking. Nevertheless, a solid community local.
