A fair-sized high-ceilinged town pub in the middle of this little village, L-shaped with a dining area at one end and a pool table at the other. Generally smart and tidy, with clean woodwork and a restrained level of decoration. A nice bank of seven handpumps featured Tribute, Proper Job, Doom Bar, Sea Fury, Lushingtons and Atlantic, with Old Rosie for the cider drinkers. No food on Mondays and parking can be tricky, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

Enjoyed a Brains Rev James while sitting in the sun on the outside seating after a walk round some of the local coast path. Lovely location. Getting menu and activities listed for the regatta week.

A good pub waiting to happen, but it ain't happened yet. Same usual weak beer - Doom Bar, Stogs - as almost everywhere else for miles. If some imagination was shown with the beer then it might surprise itself & become half decent. No imagination in the menu, usual Pasties, steaks etc! Bar has a pool table (that put me off straight away) & a few bandits. The lounge dining room is 'L' shaped & devoid of atmosphere. No parking available.
