Looks like a decent pub from the outside, but it's getting rather tired on the inside. Lot's of rather battered heavy tables and chairs. There was a quiz night about to start during our visit and it was pretty full. There had to be some reason it was busy, because it certainly wasn't for the beer quality. Just one of the 6 handpumps badged with Pedigree and this was a very poor pint, just about drinkable. Not good.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The London

Quite an attractive arcaded façade with a small front terrace, but relatively plain inside (especially towards the back where the large sports TV is located). Light decor and furniture. Decent selection of six real ales on handpump: Pedigree and Old Empire from Marston's, Cocker Hoop and Dark Mild (£3.10) from Jennings, Banks's Bitter and Brakspear Oxford Gold.
