Central Bar separating two rooms. Dog friendly, the reason we burst in through the door at midday, soaking wet - with a puppy. Made to feel welcome by the barman setting up. I would have had a beer if something took my fancy - Hobgoblin Gold and strangely, Banks Mild, did not.
A lovely pot of tea for two and a couple of diet cokes.
Perfect for our lunchtime needs!

A terraced pub with a white exterior, with blue paintwork.
The interior had two rooms, bar and lounge, in red and cream. I sat in the lounge, which was decorated with plates and old photographs and quite a bit of ship memorabilia, with a nice photo of the Titanic. There was a nice fireplace, Sky TV and a pool table in the bar. The service was fine and the clientele small.
The Beer; usual tap stuff, with Pedigree and Ringwood Filly Drift, which was nice.
One i really enjoyed and would like to return to.
