One that needs to be experienced.
Only pub in the village - so packed with locals, diners and the occasional tourists.
Every surface covered with paraphernalia, which you could spend a lifetime looking through.
To the left, a restaurant. Food served till 9pm but on our visit, plates were still coming out well after 10.
To the right a bar with a table hemmed in pool table and no short cues. Prepare to make friends. An awesome jukebox, but the land lady is non too keen on Rammestein, which the local kids love.
No then beer. St Austell and a single Bath Ales on the hand pumps but when they serve, they head out of sight to get it from gravity fed barrels. Regardless of the quality, this makes it a bit lifeless. A real shame, as colour and taste were pefect. I have no idea why they would do it this way, other than not wanting to keep the lines clean.
Had fun in here but definitely filed under quirky.
