Called into this friendly pub while doing a tour of Gwent pubs. Very much a community pub and family friendly with a good garden at the rear. Ales on offer were Tetley No 3, Tiny Rebel Juicy, Butcombe Bitter, Brains Rev James, and Doom Bar. We enjoyed our Tiny Rebel Juicy. Bar area and a comfortable lounge too, part of which is used for dining.

The Golden Lion in Magor is a terrific village pub and restaurant.
Friendly staff, fantastic food, fabulous atmosphere!
Would highly recommend a visit.
