Easily missed due to low-key signage, this pub is tucked into the High Street with a small frontage but is much extended back sideways to the road. The open plan interior has suffered from an attempt at modernisation, which has left little character, and it feels much more like an eating than drinking establishment, despite a respectable pint of Island Yachtsman on handpump. To the rear are gardens, a pond and a children's play area, and there is a wedding-type function room also.
