There was just the one real ale on in here - Brain's Rev James, at a very reasonable £3.10 a pint. It was in fairly good condition - once I'd convinced the barman to remove the sparkler of course. There was no sign of any food late afternoon on a Monday.
This looks very much like a house conversion pub to me. It's clearly a simple locals' pub, a short walk from the centre of Pembroke Dock. But it's clearly well looked after inside, being very clean and having a nice carpet. There was some fixed bench seating by the windows complete with cushions, that looked to be a little too tall for the normal tables alongside them, but there were a few normal tables and chairs, and they suited me just fine. It had something a a very modern feel, with a brick built bar counter instead of the traditional wooden variety, and a modern battened ceiling.
There were only a handful of punters in when I visited, and they were clearly locals as I don't suppose any tourist would feel the need to wander up here, and if they somehow did find themselves up here then I doubt that they would venture in such a simple looking pub as this one. But I quite liked it, the Rev James was in fair nick, and that's all that really matters.
