Nice looking traditional building, but the juke box was pounding when I arrived soon after opening at 4pm. There's a pool table in the front bar, with a darts board to the left. Two hand pumps on the counter, with Doom Bar turned around, leaving local Bragdy Aberteifi (Cardigan Brewery) Dai Cockles Strong Ale 5.4% the only cask beer. I was driving so had just a half. It was pretty good (NBSS 3.5) and tasty too. The back room is set for dining, and there are a few benches at the back.

The Huntsman is the only pub in the village of Rosemarket. It is clearly a locals' pub, with a thriving community spirit.
Our visit in the first weekend in September was timed a week after the pub had held a beer festival. Two beers on handpull were J Buckley Best Bitter & Evan Evans Artisan Craft Beer - Snapper. I had also spotted a couple of Bluestone beers served from casks on a stillage in a side room. These were Rocketeer & Stone Gold.
Real ciders were also present. In addition to Gwynt y Ddraig Dog Dancer & Haymaker, they also had Gethin's Sych, a much drier affair.
A group of labourers arrived in good spirit not long after us. They certainly added to the atmosphere. Before their arrival, there were just a couple indoors playing darts and another couple outdoors in a covered area overlooking the car park. Test match cricket was being shown on TVs.
A simple and welcoming village pub that turned out to be my favourite pub of 12 we visited in Pembrokeshire over the weekend. Although this may well have purely been due to timing, with a very good range of ales and ciders present not long after their festival.
