Saturday was my first time back in Lampeter since 2016. The Nag's Head is the town's Good Beer Guide these days. It's a basic town local with a real ale, which was Evan Evans WPA for our visit.
A rugby union game at Twickenham had just finished on the TV as we arrived. Although, I'm not sure how many people had been watching it. Signs warned people they would be barred if found taking or dealing drugs. If Lampeter does have a stand out pub, I've yet to locate it.

Formerly the Kings Head, this smallish pub has been given a modern facelift, with a new bar to one side. The bright feel is a bit featureless and needs to develop a bit of character. Tucked round the back side of the bar there were a couple of handpumps, one with Gower Gold and the other with a cider. Food was available but for some reason was limited to steak and chips!
