Recently re-opened. A dull-opened out interior with little of note; slate floor, white walls and ceiling and a load of local bar blockers. Not convinced about the new person, the A board outside advertised curry and a pint for a tenner on Friday which was exactly what we needed in this one horse town. “Oh yeah he's off sick, sorry” was what we got when we limbered up to place our order. FFS move the bloody sign back inside and maybe knock-up some filled rolls as a substitute and sell them for a fiver with a pint?? Must I do all the thinking round here. One cask, a decent drop of Felinfoel Double Dragon (NBSS 3) which at least meant the trip wasn’t entirely wasted. Inevitably the wifi didn’t work.
