I L left this review about The Golden Lion Hotel

Very jolly batman in here (possibly the landlord) along with a friendly crowd on our visit. A fairly traditional pub that has been partially opened up with pool table in the front part and further games room out back. An unusual bar front done in shiplap timber together with a timber kick rail. two Felinfoel ales on which were Celtic Pride and Double Dragon. They were served a bit chilled but they were fine once they warmed up a bit.
