I hadn't been for years and wondered why others looked daft when I talked about it being a Good Ale pub when discussing it. So I went along and realised why. It's been done up nicely but is a Lager Barn plenty of Continental choices with Creamflow on tap. This is still a tiny pub which will fill up with a Pool match.

Quinno's review made me laugh as I have a pic from the 1990s of Mrs Aqualung taken in here with the clock behind showing 01:25! In those days it was something of a real ale as well sa a a lock in destination pub.

Small watering hole, usually occupied by loud sports-types from the Uni and younger locals. Drinks range leans towards funnily-coloured spirits and mixers, though there are a couple of ales on that are inconsistent though the arrival of Purple Moose has livened things up a bit. Formerly the lock-in capital of Aberystwyth.
