A smart lounge bar in an upmarket hotel and spa with various function suites adjoining (It is just to the left of the old door on the street, with the main hotel entrance round the corner). Comfy chairs, soft furnishings and one of those hideous tartan carpets beloved by hotels in days past. Friendly enough though, and they were happy to serve passing pub tickers. There is just German ABK lager on keg, with a few bottles from Wold Top and Black Sheep in the chiller. Pleasant and relaxing, but not really one for drinkers.
