Two bars linked by a wide corridor like area containing a few tables and chairs. Each end is furnished similarly with a fair bit of banquette seating or upholstered settles. The left hand bar is more a public, a single unclipped pull and a quad T-bar with 3 lagers and neck oil, there’s a machine, screen, jukebox and dart board. To the right is a larger room with two pulls; Tetley cask and Theakstons Best, and all tables were reserved. The centre corridor section has the main counter with two pulls, Landlord and Ossett Blonde, and another quad with a further selection of national cider and lager kegs and of course Guinness. Fairly busy on a Friday evening mostly with youngish locals. White walls and carpeted throughout with the odd bit of exposed stone bricks. A few pump clips lurking behind the counter were from Theakstons with a couple from the very nearby Rudgate. My Landlord was drinkable but not top flight and the service a little slow.
