Single room although in a double fronted building. Tartan banquettes, recently refurbished mixed in with a few higher level tables and chairs, there’s a multi game machine or two and a big screen to entertain you. Decor from Banksy and other prints, it has a carpet and laminate floor. Four pulls on one face of the L shaped counter and a horseshoe plus two solos on the longer face. Cameron's Strongarm, Landlord, Hobgoblin and Copper Dragon’s dark beer as a cask choice. I have to say the Strongarm was thin and well past its best. Bit of banter amongst the locals, sparkling barmaid otherwise fairly anodyne.

A comfortable, well-turned-out one-roomer with a changing selection of ales, as evidenced by the pump clips round the walls. Trad furnishings, carpet, dartboard, one large sports TV, garden at rear. Ales on this occasion were Daleside Old Legover, TT Boltmaker, Hobgoblin and Brains Rev James. A nice respectable local.
