Excellent village pub in old stone building with wooden ceiling. The bar runs back to a nice old range, welcome on cold days, with a snug area tucked away. A plainer room on the right is laid up for dining, with a newer extension behind. Ales seem to be Tetleys, Theakstons and a guest, and were in good order (Cask Marque listed). The food was also home prepared and very good. Recommended.
