A multi-roomed and, in my estimation, quite large pub that takes up a chunk of the corner of two streets. The entrance on Machon Bank Road is not used, however, and most of the internal walls have been replaced by RSJs, leaving a large space around the bar. There's lots of dark stained wood, white painted wall paper and a vast collection of plates in a multitude of styles.
On the bar: five hand pumps offering Abbeydale Absolution (£3.28) and Moonshine, Timothy Taylor Landlord (£3.15) and Black Sheep Bitter (£2.88). I mention the prices because I have never paid anything approaching these sort of prices in Sheffield before. This is a pleasant enough pub, but I'm holding off on a second visit until I hear that a more reasonable pricing regime has been introduced.

Great friendly local, quite small but always a good atmosphere. Friendly staff.
