Now taken over by Thornbridge Brewery, with a selection of their beers (and their beers only) available on five hand pumps. I'm not keen on Thornbridge beers, finding most of them aggressively overhopped, but I had Black Harry, a 3.9% mild, which was fine. On my visit there was a refurbishment under way, with walls stripped and bare floor boards, so I can't say anything about decor and atmosphere.

The Stag is in the nether edge area of Sheffield.
This pub has got three rooms and i thought it was a decent and smart pub inside i went in the room at the front of the pub and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter which was a decent drink the other beers were Theakston best, Deuchars IPA and Old Speckled Hen.
I thought this was a decent pub and i would happily go in here again.
