A very popular pub with families out for a meal taking up most of the tables in the main room. The smaller front room was comparatively quiet. We didn't expect any real ale here, but even the Boddingtons and Tetleys smooth were off, so that left John Smiths Extra Cold Smooth Crap or Stella Wife Beater. One of my mates had the lager and I had the crap, the third making the wise choice of nothing at all, which had the additional benefit of being a lot cheaper than the dreadful drinks we paid for. (The fishy smell of all the fried food being eaten next door didn't help our appreciation of the beers.)

This is a stone built pub on the main road.
I went in the small room at the front of the pub which was empty and i had to wait ages for somebody to come and serve me this put me off this pub added to that there was no real ale here only John Smiths smooth crap which i dont drink so it was a half of Guinness.
I did'nt like this pub at all it was smart enough but there was something about this pub that i did'nt like.
