The Princess Royal is situated away from the middle of Woodhouse on the busy retford road.
Once inside there is a smallish oblong shaped room straight on,this room had a few tables and chairs,it was carpeted and a TV was showing a crap programme,there was a small square shaped lounge type room to the front left which had a pool table in the middle of it,the seating in this room was bench type,the room to the front right was oblong in shape with a tiled floor,there was what looked like a 3/4 size snooker table in the middle of it.
No real ales on the bar,the keg bitters were John Smiths smooth crap which lived up to its name and Tetley smooth.
The pub seemed quite sad in my opinion.
