The interior is much smarter and more welcoming than the rather grim exterior suggests might be the case. Unfortunately for real ale drinkers there's only Caledonian Deuchears on the bar, the other hand pump being naked at the time of my visit. The barman mistakenly poured me a half of Magnet from the keg pump next to the Deuchars, but I let it stand despite his offer to pour it away and start again. Deuchars is such a bland blonde beer that the maltiness of the keg Magnet was a pleasant alternative, though the long-gone cask version would have been better still. It was quite pleasant here, but unless there's a better beer choice I can't see me returning in a hurry.

This pub did'nt look that appealing from the outside and i thought it would be a fizz house i was wrong the pub was fairly basic inside but i quite liked it and there was two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Taylor Landlord and this was a very nice drink.
The pub was fairly busy with locals and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
