A smartly modernised bar with big windows at the front giving an open feel. There are a few bizarre touches - the counter has nasty green lights under the edge for no apparent reason, the chairs are mainly fake bamboo design and there is a glitter ball. Perhaps they were going for the evening trade, but signs seemed to be more promoting bingo sessions. The four boring lager taps were all off for some reason, leaving a choice of John Smith's, Guinness or a couple of Strongbows. I can't say I shall be rushing back.

Although this one is still closed it looks like it is being refurbished with a new sign The Lambton alreadt in place
