The Three Horseshoes is a stone built pub that is on the apex of two roads.
Once inside there is a large single room with the bar facing, the floor is part tiled and bare boarded, the seating is wood bench seats and normal tables and chairs.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other beers were Black Sheep Special,Tetley Cask and GK Abbot.
The pub was packed on my Saturday afternoon visit with lots of people in fancy dress, there were lots of marios, luigis a few mushrooms and a couple of princess peaches.
The background music was crap.
This could be a decent enough pub at a quieter time, but i would not like to drink with Marios and women dressed as Jane from Tarzan on a regular basis.

Old Boots left this review about Three Horse Shoes
This pub was very busy when I walked in, almost exclusively with young and youngish men watching sport on the many screens around the open plan room. There are even small screens on the bar counter. Outside at some tables were a few “Runners” in fancy dress. Owing to weight of numbers the service was extremely slow. The pub is triangular in shape owing to its position on a junction, the back end or a point of the triangle has a raised area with balustrades. Four pulls dispense average Tetleys, Black Sheep, and Leeds Pale, pump four was off, other wise the usual suspects from the national keg range.
