Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Three Horse Shoes
If you can ignore the traffic on the adjoining main road, this is a very appealing pub with a copious display of hanging baskets on the main façade (and thus no surprise to see the signage proclaiming their support for the local 'In Bloom' schemes or the pot plants for sale in the lobby). The interior is slightly old-fashioned, but that is hardly a surprise, with a seating / dining area at one end of the central servery and more of a restaurant (crammed with regimented tables) at the other. Four handpumps on the counter, with Black Sheep, TT Golden Best (£3.90) and Hobgoblin being dispensed, and a reversed John Smith's Cask clip on the other.

Staff are surly and do not smile. Food dumped on table with not a word and when asked for condiments, grunted at and felt as if asking too much. Bar staff extremely slow and cannot remember an order of two drinks. Food just about okay if you are hungary and cant be bothered to complain. Large uninteresting and uninspired menu. Large portions, but presentation could be improved. Asked to move tables so they could fit a wheelchair in without so much as a thank you or apology. Customer service certainly lacks. Looks pretty and attractive from outside with limited parking. We are new to the area and will continue to look for a pub that appreciates our custom and makes us welcome!!

one of the best pubs near oulton hall. the food is to die for.
a brilliant menu plenty of choice, very nice staff nice atmosphere lovely hanging baskets the owner always puts them into the yorkshire in bloom competition. very reccomended. always good music on too playing in the background pop 60s to mid 90s .
