Old Boots left this review about The Oldfield
A pub with three bars sat on a major crossroads, to the left is a public bar with darts, right the main bar of two parts, firstly a snug with the main counter and then a larger seating area but with limited counter length. Two hand pumps and T-Bar are in the public, both pulls with a poor Black Sheep Bitter, a T-Bar of five usual suspects and Carling and Strongbow solos reside in the middle main part. The rear room is a pool room served by a hatch. Grey painted woodwork and white walls with old photos forming the decor. Lav’s at the back and they ming so much a can of Brut is provided to mask the stench.
