Old Boots left this review about Old White Hart

A mid Victorian looking building much altered on the inside. It retains a two bar layout but both appear to be set out as modern public bars. Through the entrance vestibule there is a door to the right into a smaller bar with darts, which was deserted. To the left it’s a pool table space but carrying on past the machines leads you into what appears to be the main bar. This runs across the width of the pub and at the right leads to the large function room and a beer garden. The counter is against the central spine wall and in addition to the expected three horseshoes of national brands, this is a “community pub” after all, are three pulls at the far end. Choice here was Black Sheep Bitter (reversed), Landlord or Tetleys Cask, in deference to the signage I plumped for a very average Tetleys served by the quietest spoken barmaid I’ve ever encountered, other than the silent ones. There are signs on the counter saying “Please do not stand at the bar”, which is weird and there are no bar stools. Modern banquette seating augmented by tall tables and stools, plain decor mixed flooring.
The screens are in odd corners and the canned music just about at acceptable levels.

The last time i came in this pub was way back in the 80's when Leeds United took on Blackburn in an old division 2 game.
The place seems to have had a recent spruce up and i found it quite pleasant and clean, but no cask beer just the usual suspects to choose from.
