Will Larter left this review about The Newmarket
Craft Union pub with two cask beers, Landlord and Wainwright. The Landlord was priced at £3.65 but my half was bumped up to £2. Typical high street pub, or typical Craft Union, with live sport on several TVs, most customers drinking lager on a Saturday afternoon.

Old Boots left this review about The Newmarket
Down to earth town pub, with banquette seating, rough plastered walls, and chatty locals. Three pulls with Ossett White Rat, Taylors Golden Best and Black Sheep Bitter, although more Taylors clips were behind the bar, the beer mats, yes it has them, are from Taylors as well. Range of usual kegs plus a couple of curved balls. Big clear windows, navy surplus grey painted furniture and piped music detract a little from the reverie. Big screens on silent news although BT Sport is advertised. Still it’s friendly and the beers fine. Being mistaken for the ghost of a deceased regular didn’t harm my pub cred’.

Graham Coombs left this review about The Newmarket
Traditional locals' town pub with bar to left, a semi-open room to the right and a games room behind, Also has its own Indian restaurant accessed at the rear. Courtyard garden area down alley at side. Three ales on offer: the Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker was sampled and was drinkable, if a little flavourless.
