The only pub in the village of Bramhope, this one has a dining room/lounge to the front and a public bar to the rear, connected by a corridor on the right-hand side which is lined with lots of sporting pictures. To the rear of the pub is an outdoor terrace and a large car park.
The bar has a tiled floor and a fireplace with a grate and a TV above it. The TV was off for our visit with music playing instead. Board games in one corner are available to play, including Shut The Box.
At the bar, Black Sheep Best Bitter is the regular beer. Ossett White Rat & Tetley's Cask were the guest beers for our visit. A board to the side of the bar said that Kirkstall Pale Ale & Three Swords would be on next. Stowford Press was the cider. There are a few old pumpclips, displaying previous beers they have had, above the bar.
For our visit, there was an elderly group sat in the bar and a few more locals came in, one with a dog. Dog biscuits are provided. There were also a few customers in the dining room. Sunday lunch is served.
A wifi code is provided, whilst the pub was due to host an event called Fiesta, which appeared to be some kind of family day.
