Old Boots left this review about The Broadway
A large thirties roadhouse on the Dewsbury Road in the far edge of Beeston developed around that time although there’s some early 20th century housing opposite. Much diminished from its previous life I suspect; it has a small games area, closed off on my visit, with a selection of machines, pool, table football etc, on the left and a larger open plan section to the right. Grey brown and off-green / beige paintwork, with carpet, wood and tile floors, furnishings are a bit of a mix. Plenty of screens and machines of course. The bluey grey wooden counter fronts a U shaped servery covering both sections, a few T-Bars provide the usual suspects and there are two pulls with Taylor’s Landlord (passable and only £3.70 a pint) and Boltmaker (glass on pull). More bloody canned music at just too high a volume, heavy metal on this occasion so it may have been quiet although the style may have suited the mainly stale, pale and male clientele, friendly enough though and it has a pub cat!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Broadway Hotel
Substantial Marstons roadhouse. Partially opened out to form a large 'L'-shaped bar. Good value food offers. Front patio seating. Rear grassed beer garden. Two real ales available on handpump - Boondoggle and Pedigree (£2.45). (NB - Review dates from August 2011.)

I'm the new manager of the Broadway (well since last December). There are now a minimum of three real ales available at all times (usually four). Pedigree and Boondoggle are currently permanants with 1 or 2 rotating guests. Loads going on. General Knowledge quiz Sunday, Redtooth Poker League Tuesday, Music quiz Thursday, Karaoke or occasional bands on Saturday. Food served till 9pmm (8pm on Sunday). Regular offers on food and drink. Sky sports. Children welcome until 9pm.
