Stone built pub on the Leeds Bradford Road, with a double fronted exterior. Obviously it was several rooms once but now de-walled and has sort of three or four areas. A previous front room occupies the centre front with a back area and counter beyond, there are games or seating areas either side, the games being left and down a step or three. A T-Bar and five solos serve the usual macro products and there’s two unused pulls. More Leeds United stuff as decor. Plenty of banquette seating and a few older features remain, a marble fireplace and some lincrusta perhaps. Very busy on an early Friday evening.

The Acorn is a decent looking stone built pub that is close to a busy road junction.
Once inside there is a large oblong shaped room with the bar facing, the room is carpeted and divided into two halfs by a wall, the seating is comfy bench type with chairs and small stools, the left side is down a few steps, there is a pool table and darts board in this area.
There are no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Stones bitter which was drinkable, the other keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap.
There were a few TVs which were showing horse racing, the pub was quite busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
