This pub was enlarged about ten years ago and now consist of a large "L" shaped bar area, on one level, which naturaly forms two distinct areas.On entry to the front of you this bar area has three large TVs and is the meeting point for all types of worker from the nearby retail, industrial and large housing estates.In general a good natured chatty bunch.
Turn to the left and you find a comfortable loung area frequented by families and the older customers.This is the favoured area for eating food ordered from the inexpensive menu. The bar normally has Banks, Pedigree, and a few guest ales together with a range of keg beers and lagers. This is a pub my disabled partner and I regularly use. It has no pretensions to being other than a good local pub.
