Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Railway Inn

Traditional-looking community pub, but the three-part interior has been stripped of any character during previous remodelling and refurbishment. It features the bar to the left as you enter, a plain seating area on the right-hand side, a pool room to the rear (with its own small counter) and a function room beyond. No cask ale, and even the keg Greene King IPA was off, so had to resort to a quick John Smith's (£3.50).

The Railway Inn is a decent looking pub that is down a short hill from the centre of Redditch.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,the bar is on the left side,the seating bench type and bucket chairs to the front,there is a pool table to the right,the floor is part tiled and bare boarded,there is a separate function room to the rear.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Smooth,which was a pretty poor drink.
Background music was playing and the pub was reasonably busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
This is a decent enough pub,just a shame that it does not have a real ale on the bar.
