Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Park Inn
Fairly basic pub, opened out inside to leave a 'U'-shaped layout, with a pool table in one arm and the dartboard in the other. Also has various sports TV screens and (for a Wednesday evening) surprisingly loud music, but as the place was also busy it is obviously serving its market well. Another bonus was finding the single handpump in use, dispensing a reasonable pint of Purity Mad Goose (£3.80).

Sadly the badge on the solitary ale tap was turned around when we called so we had a quick lager. Looked like a decent place to watch the football with plenty of games advertised.

The Park Inn is a stand alone pub that reminded me of the pubs i had done in Manchester years ago.
Once inside the bar faces in a single room, there bench seating and small stools opposite the bar and on the right side, there is a pool table to the rear right, there were tall tables and chairs and high backed bench seating to the rear left,a TV to the left was showing cricket, there was a darts board to the left.
There was one real ale on the bar,i had a drink of Purity Pure Gold, which went down well.
This was a decent pub to have a drink in,just a shame it was almost empty on my Saturday dinner visit.
