Civilised 10am opener. Perfectly positioned on the harbour, with tables running around the front and nothing between you and an enviable view of the sea, other than railings.
Didnt spend too long inside. The bar looked very small - low ceiling and quite narrow. Lets call it intimate.
Need to pay attention to the handpulls that are on - as they are scattered along the length of the bar. TT Landlord tucked into the corner with at least two different Black Sheeps. I missed the TT and order a BS Bitter. This was deemed needing changing and I was offered the landlord without and fuss or me asking.
Must visit if in the area, and the village is non too shabby either.

An oddly shaped building that appears to have been cobbled together and extended at various times, it has an entrance or exit at either end and the inside has been knocked into one long room. There are four hand pumps with Timothy Taylor Landlord, Black Sheep Bitter, Rudgate Ruby Mild and one other that I didn't note at the time. The beer was ok but there was an off-putting smell of fried fish and there were some people sitting near us with a large dog which was allowed to roam and couldn't understand that some people don't like dogs. There are some seats outside for the view of the harbour, and if it hadn't been January we might have sat there. As it was we just drank up and left.
