Old School community pub. Central bar, with pool room. Opposite side is more setup for dining, although they are only providing Sunday lunch. Lived in look that could be from any era in the last 50 years.
Beer quality was excellent - guess its a free house, as they had Butcombe Gold and HPA today, with three different breweries coming on the "next on" list on the bar. Butcombe gold excellent.
Thursday night visit and good to see the place busy with all ages, including crib team and youth on the pool table.
