The bar to this old Station Hotel also appears to be called the Iron Road. The building goes back to the days when there were two stations at Evesham with a line running from Barnt Green through Redditch crossing the lines here and continuing to Ashchurch near Tewkesbury where it rejoined the main line from Birmingham to Gloucester.
It is primarily a live music venue. It was quite dark inside on my late Saturday afternoon visit and one corner of the large room had a light display on. There was a large TV screen showing the end of the rugby but only a handful of people watching it.
The bar has four hand pumps which had a house Iron Road, Sharp's Atlantic & Doom Bore and Hobgoblin Gold. I went for the Atlantic (£3.30) which was a rather pedestrian pint. This place promotes itself as a sports bar and music venue and it clearly is so I would be very unlikely to return.

The Railway is a three storey stand alone pub that is fairly close to the train station.
Once inside i went in a largish room that was empty and seemed a bit scruffy, this was probably because the pub was mainly used for live bands in the evening, these sort of pubs never look any good when empty.
I was surprised to see two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wyre Piddle Piddle in the Wind and this was a very nice well kept beer the other beer was Tetley bitter.
I would have enjoyed this pub more if it was busier with a live group playing.
