Pleasant enough village green pub and now the last one standing in the Littletons. Retains an open fire and all the usual olde worlde accoutrements, though an unfortunate huge sofa infestation.
Currently only open weekends, and catering is a burger van outside. Plenty of outdoor seating, of which we were the only users on a chilly bank holiday Saturday; indeed there was just one other party inside. Anyway, spot-on Purity Gold (other choice was UBU), cheerfully served after signing in.
It's not a destination pub, but I'd be happy with it as my local.

The Ivy Inn has undergone extensive renovation. It is now has a bright fresh feel to the place, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or one of the locally produced ales.
Gone is the pool table table & dart board but games such as dominos & crib are still accomated in the bar whilst the skittle alley & function room is now a new restaurant opening March 2018.

Centre of the village and a timeless feel to the place.
Lovely green outside - so perfect on a summers day.
On a winters day, they have every combination of pub sports you can think off - including a skittle alley.
Two real ales - Doom Bar and Atlantic. Lovely landlady, as long as you don't swear in her vicinity.
