Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Railway Inn
Although beside one of the railway lines branching off from the nearby station, Canal Inn would be a more apt name since it has a lower beer garden right by the waterway. However, before you get there, you find a traditional two-bar pub at road level, with fairly basic furniture and decor in both parts. There is also an elevated, part-covered terrace (mostly used by smokers) at the back. With two of the four handpumps in use, I found Wye Valley HPA (£4.10) and Rosie's Pig cider being poured.

Large locals pub on the edge of town next to the canal. No ales on due to delivery issues so we made do with a quick lager. Enjoyed a chat with the regulars and I'd happily call again.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Railway Inn
The exterior of this pub looks so weathered and dull, you would think the pub had closed down. The interior consists of a central bar serving the two rooms, also there was a beer garden . The interior deco was dated and drab. One ale on, Banks Sunbeam.
