Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Crown & Sandys
Although (slightly) more modern than its neighbouring historic buildings, this substantial hotel is more traditional inside than one might expect. It is also more upmarket too, but still doing excellent dining business on a Thursday evening. Indeed, I found the one small table beside the bar free, and may have been the only person in the main seating / dining areas just having a drink. That said, there are also some side rooms and patio / grassed beer gardens. Beer-wise, a couple from Wye Valley - HPA (£4.30) and Butty Bach - were available from the three handpumps.

Called in this pub as one of the three we were visiting in Ombersley. Lovely open fireplaces. A lot of tables set fot dining, but the real ales we had were good. Wye Valley HPA and Purity Mad Goose. Also on was Wye Valley Butty Bach. Lots of old photos on the walls. Large outside garden area both on grass, and a courtyard area.
