Family run freehouse focusing on food , the pub has been extended over the years , the basic L shaped interior has seen a resturant and conservatory added , the decor is all a bit to Ember Inns for my taste with piles of logs and bits of twiggy things scattered about .
Usual kegs plus some more unusual ones like Shipyard Pale , strangly for a Freehouse the beer choice is all from the Marstons range , my Oxford Gold was decent enough .
Very busy on my Monday afternoon visit , mostly diners of all ages .
Its OK in here not really my type of pub but to be so busy on a Monday they must be doing something right .
