Old fashioned boozer with multiple rooms and spaces, once two bars but as the main entrance door is boarded up it's a U shape with the servery down the middle. There's a long drinking space straight ahead on entering with a "smoke room" off to one side and a larger drinking area further back. Going round the end of the counter, there’s another long drinking space with a pool table on a raised area to the rear. This room has a large mural of ‘brough players, a wooden Indian and on my visit a man stockpiling red kidney beans. Quite busy in spite of being lunchtime and Coronavirus on the loose, only national kegs to choose from. Once called the Alexandra Hotel judging by the etched entrance door.
