New landlord since March 2009. Now doing great food, Cask Marque Wadsworth beers - IPA, 6X, JCB, with log fires, a comfortable feel, and friendly staff. Garden, pond and chickens to watch. Nice function room upstairs, too.

landlord Fraser ? a scot & excellant host.wadworths ales, kept very well. Food and service spot on. service is very attentive but not over the top.well worth a visit.food definately not pub grub.
