Cask was two hand pumps dispensing Arkells 3B with two other hand pumps unused. Keg offering was Guinness, Carling, Moretti, Arkells Voyager APA, San Miguel, Arkells Haze pale ale, Thatchers Haze, Gold and the oft seen three flavoured ciders of theirs.

Quite large pub out of the main part of the town centre. It is carpeted throughout with plenty of screens showing various recorded footy action. Bar is an island in the centre of the venue, with typical seating options around the periphery. There was a pool table towards the rear and some seating out the back with a rear car park providing ample parking. Nothing special in terms of the beer options but a pub is a bit more than that and very pleasant staff. Felt like a good community pub.

Recent(ish) refitted Arkells pub but done really nicely; bottle green and battleship grey paint, fabric bench seating, pub carpet, prints and a nice light conservatory-style extension off right. To the rear is a tidy garden area. Friendly young female licensee in situ recovering from the pub hosting a birthday party the night before. A scarcely credible seven pumps at the bar though thankfully only two were actually clipped and both were Arkells 3B which she pulled-through without prompt and it was in great shape (NBSS 4) – so-much-so that I had a second despite it not being my favourite brew. I rather enjoyed this one, worth the effort to schlep out for on this showing.

The Clifton is a back street pub that is awaf from the centre of Swindon and not near any other pubs.
This is an Arkells tied house and once inside the pub had one room that was well furnished and comfortable,there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Arkells 3B and this was very nice the other beer was Arkells 2B.
I quite liked this pub.
