The Salisbury is a U-shaped pub with a central left facing U-shaped serving counter that supports three hand pumps that were drawing Rude Giant’s Juicy IPA, Electric Bear’s William Shakes Beer and Stone Henge Ales’ Heel stone during a recent quiet Friday afternoon visit. Premium keg and Camden’s Eazy were also available from the polite barmaid. Seating is found to the right of the entrance and to the left the counter faces seating across the front windows and an L-shaped banquette in the front left corner that runs up the left-hand wall to a dartboard. In the rear bar area is a high banquette across the rear wall as well as high tables with stools. I didn’t note any televisions, but there was some background music playing. There are better pubs in the immediate area, but my visit was pleasant enough, so I’d pop back in for another pint if passing.

A revisit after nine years found an improvement, although the interior doesn't live up to the promise of the exterior the pub now offers three cask beers, on my visit last Saturday, 21/3/26, they were Rude Giant Best, Electric Bear Gizmo and Stonehenge Sign Of Spring (NBSS 3.5). Keg wise is fairly ordinary with the nearest thing to craft I noticed was Camden Pale.
Now worth a look for cask beer.

With time ticking by and a long list of pubs to tick, the lack of cask ale here meant we pressed onwatds. Next time, maybe.
