A solid looking building by the bridge over the Avon,it's now home to an open plan sports bar with no real ale ,cheap and dull pub grub despite some effort to help vegans and gluten intollerants.
There are a lot of sports flatscreens at the front,on mute thankfully on my Thursday lunchtime visit. The high tables are in the central section, low profile tables and comfy chairs to the right while further back beyond the bar is a rear section with some neon.
There are 14 wall mounted taps behind the left sided bar with drink names numbered on barrel ends above the taps.On my trip there were 5 sparkling ciders, three multinational brands (Camden Hells,Brixton Reliance Pale and Beavertown Neck Oil with indie beers Tall Tale Pale,Wild Under the Sun Hazy IPA,Easy Living Pale,BrewDog Punk IPA and Wingman and Tiny Rebel Electic Boogaloo which was only moderately interesting. The complete lack of dark beer and a focus on Pales and IPAs left me unispired.
It's a paint by numbers keg house and not one that I plan to revisit, once was quite enough.

Visited with my mates earlier in the month and was served by Scott who kept our drinks flowing. Loved it! We will be back, thank you Scott.

With time really running out for our time in Salisbury this was a quick visit and I found a beer from Penton Park brewery called 50 not out, apparently brewed to celebrate a relatives birthday and very good it as too.
